QOU participate in Reinforcing Access to Freelancing workshop

Al-Quds Open University participated in a training workshop as part of REACH project: Reinforcing Access to Cross-Border Employment at Palestinian Higher Education Institution. The six-day training was led by specialized experts from the Islamic University of Gaza and covered a variety of topics, including how to search and apply for jobs on various self-employment platforms, such as Upwork, and others. It also focused on how to create profiles and find unique points of sale.
Furthermore, the training aimed to enhance Faculty members’ capacities in designing training units relevant to self-employment for graduate and training graduate students in Palestinian higher education institutions to get a head start in this profession, narrow the skills gap between them and what the labor market requires, and boost their prospects of remote cross-border hiring.
