In collaboration with Marconi University, Al-Quds Open University took part in a training program as part of the Reinforcing Access to Cross-Border Employability at Palestinian Higher Education Institutions – REACH) project. Experts from Guglielmo Marconi University presented a five-day workshop that addressed several topics, including creativity and innovation, entrepreneurship initiatives, supporting projects and institutions, and sustainable prosperity through research, critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making.
Several university faculty members attended the workshop, which aimed to build academics’ capacity to design and prepare training units in various topics in personal/life skills for graduate students in Palestinian universities; In order to train and qualify graduate students in Palestinian higher education institutions, and providing them with the skills in soft skills, besides remote work skills, to expand their opportunities for employment across borders.
